Apparently, gators are my BFF.... yikes!
I was actually thinking about you guys yesterday! The weather was amazing so I finally decided to head over to Vondelpark which is this really pretty park near my place with cool outdoor movie screenings and lots of ponds and trails. There were a few good sized fields that I saw which made me wish I could play some ultimate frisbee again. I sat on this bench to do some sketching and looked up to see a few guys I work with walking over with a frisbee and asking if I wanted to toss it around with them! I'm trying to keep up my amazing frisbee skills in case I'm ever in FL again ;)
In other news, DHL lost two of my three boxes that I had shipped over. Shockingly enough, the box with a few clothes and novels and regular things managed to arrive while the box with my Playstation, my games, my really nice art books, and other easily sold on Amazon items, vanished. Does anyone actually think that I wasn't just robbed? And DHL says that even though I filled out the customs forms with everything in those boxes, I only managed to insure it for a hundred dollars. So I guess that means they aren't bound in any way to actually make sure that my boxes arrive. They aren't even going to refund me the hundreds of dollars I already spent getting it sent over, even though they didn't do their jobs..... at all. So whatever you do, don't use DHL to ship anything ever.
